Facebook does not store passwords in plain text. When you create a password, it undergoes a cryptographic process called "hashing." Facebook only stores the hash. When you log in, the system hashes your input and matches it against the stored hash. It is mathematically impossible for an external downloadable tool to simply "find" or read this password from Facebook’s servers.
Choose to receive a security code via your registered email or SMS.
Look in your Google Chrome or Apple Keychain settings.
Any tool that tries to "guess" a password (brute force) would be locked out after a dozen attempts. Facebook’s intrusion detection systems are world-class. They will permanently ban the IP address attempting the attack.
If you lost access to your account, avoid third-party software. Use Facebook's official, secure recovery channels instead. 1. Official Facebook Identify Tool Navigate to the page. Click Forgot Account? or go directly to ://facebook.com . Enter your registered email address or mobile number .
